Postby Trapper John md » Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:48 pm

Maybe this is not the right place to ask,
but has anyone a pcb layout for it?
Some hi-res pix would be ok as well...
Want to mod my 101 (which is my 100m controller) with sync in...

Hello

I only have the 101 details.

You could try Roland, thats where I got my documents.
Make out you are a repair type person, maybe buy a knob
or something, and they are very helpful.

Goodluck

Schematics here http://fa.utfs.org/diy/roland100/. I've been peering at the System 700 schematics for the last few weeks and the System 100 service manual is amazing in comparison.

For sync I'd suggest recreating the bit on board OP-29, page 12 - follow the hard and soft sync inputs to the caps C412 and C413. The output of that would go into point 42 on the VCO board. Here's the VCO board on mine, point 42 is in the middle - you might be need to be careful with routing the wire into it out of the way.

pity those schematics are missing the VCF VCA boards! (with the sync input)

HARD sync should be connection 99 and soft conn 97
they go in the "sync" circuit (somebody should describe it!)
and the output goes into connection 42 on the VCO board
