Definitely shows the power of a modular system .. but who has 3 131s! :) I only have two ;)

BTW, I'm very interested in your sub-osc and xor mods. I love the 24dB mod which did both sides of a 121 with. I've got another spare so I might do half of it as well.

Only as a reference tone, but I think that was its purpose. I can't imagine that Roland had another other purpose for it. Maybe as a drone. I just turned both of mine on and noted that they beat ;-) No surprise!

Hey, how about taking over the headphone jack? The level could be used to control the pitch of the 'fixed' oscillator and its output could go to the headphone jack rather than to the mixer?

That could be a little fun .. I'll open one of mine up and see what the range is on
the trimmer. Err ... its fixed! it will take more to get it useful.

if you dont need the headphone jack I guess you could do that,
and use it as a kind of manual modulation osc, only that schemo
says that it is L1 that controls the pitch of the osc and not a trimpot....

Yes, I discovered that when I opened it up. I don't use the headphone jack/pot at all. But I have enough audio rate oscillators as it is :)

Geez, that is an interesting change. I wonder how it sounds?
