Scratchy Sliders

OK Guys,

What do you recommend for cleaning the dust and crap out of sliders?

I was looking at this stuff but I'm not sure it is OK to use on pots.

(the best thing to do would of course be to remove, take them apart and clean them with isopropanol or something, and then apply some kind of lube, but it would be a hell of a job though)

I got some modules a while ago where the sliders were almost stuck, first I
used some kind of contact cleaning spray just to losen them up a bit, then something called "eml electrolube", today these sliders works and feels great

I just did a 3-part process to my 100M sliders.

First I use Kontakt 60 to clean off the crap, then Kontakt WL to wash away any leftover crap, and then Kontakt 61 for lubing & protecting. They feel pretty damned good, and not at all too loose.

I cleaned some slide switches too, and the result was that ALL lubing washed away from the switches with 60 & WL. I had to apply a lot of 61 to make the switches work smoothly again, but it worked well,

Thanks for the tips guys. The DeoxIT looks like it's the mutts nuts but since I have a fair number of sliders to service I'll need to go for a more cost effective solution so I'll have ago with a combination of contact cleaner/lube.
