any idea to extend LFO range ?

Postby polyconnect » Mon Dec 23, 2013 11:49 am

I want to be able to have a wider range of speeds available for my 100m LFO's.
Has anybody seen or done that before ?

Hello

On the M140 ?
Faster or slower ?

For slower you could increase the value of C5 [on the M140] to
.2 or .47 uF.

I dont think you can mod the freq. sweep range wider tho' . . .

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try.
It would be great to make the fast setup faster and the slow setup slower.
Roland had that policy on almost all of their machines, which makes them always musical, but on the 100M they went a bit too far in the "politically correctness" of their LFO speed.

Aren't all the LFOs the same ? 140 or 150 ?

Hello

Sorry yes it is the same priciple for the M150, I was just
refering to the capacitor in the schems for the M140.
