Re: Yusynth's Roland 100 M

Hello

Yes !

The paint is difficult to match.

I ended up getting the aluminium panels bead
blasted for the correct texture before painting.
Also all 100m modules are slightly different grey.

Depends on the CV converter.

Which MIDI2CV box are you using ?

Do you already know how you're going to implement that on the front panel ?

Hello

Yes, just reuse the fixed HPF switch.
Involves a bit of track cutting on the
pcb but seems ok.

Board populated and tested, seems works
well.

Pics and sounds coming soon.

Re: M-121 Highpass modification REPOST !

Hello

Sorry not yet . . .
But thanks for the remind, I will try and get around to it.

Basically it is an analogue multiplexor switch ADG333ABNZ
that connects the four cells of the VCF in different
permutations to create the different LP/HP/BP modes.

Cheers

And an honor to have you on this forum Mr Yusynth

in the 100m format . . . ?

Cheers

Re: M-121 Highpass modification REPOST !

Hello

The mod as drawn only effects one filter, the LHS one.

You can do both, just check the schematic
and find the relevant components.

M-121 Highpass modification REPOST !

Hello Seeing as the original post has dissappeared . . . I thought I should post the mod details again. Also I am working on a switchable 24db multimode mod so you can switch between LP,HP, or BP, which is a bit more fun ! Trying to upload some sound samples but this site doesnt seem to allow. -ryk

Re: My little wall of joy

Unless you love arpeggios, forget the M184 !
Instead get an MPU101.

Then you can use any nice MIDI keys or MIDI seq. [the Roland keys are a bit clunky.

Re: Syncing system100M 182 seq to System100 104 seq

Hello

As the 104 gate plays on each step, you could
use it's "gate out" that as the master clock.
But the M182 has no input, so you will have to
open up the box and do a bit of soldering . . .

Hello

Sorry yes it is the same priciple for the M150, I was just
refering to the capacitor in the schems for the M140.
